O'Neill Collins, a renowned painter and lecturer with TU Dublin’s Bachelor Visual Arts on Sherkin Island, has garnered admiration from notable figures internationally, including George Clooney. Her art has been described as a true reflection of her spirited personality and deep connection to her environment.
The painter, who lives and works on Sherkin island, dreamt of attending the school from the movie Fame, but has become more introverted since then.
A summer open-door event showcasing the works and talents of three West Cork artists is taking place at The Yellow Door, in Baltimore until the end of August.
